Its very easy the only sure way to avoid pregnancy is to not have sex! There is no other way to positively avoid it. You are taking chances no matter what contraceptives you use. The condom is one of the better chooses. It has a high rate when it come to protection from not only pregnancy but STDs also.

Avoid sex, or use birth control. Use condoms/birth control pills.
This is after all 2007 so you do have access to all kinds of birth control, go to planned parent hood and get some there if you can not afford to buy it. They will give it to you for free if you are unable to pay for it.
