Herpes covers quite a few things. Herpes Zoster for example is shingles, herpes simplex are cold sores which sounds like wht you have. ABREVA is about the best thing going for cold sores! It is expensive however, around thirteen dollars or so for a tube. You can buy it at WalMart and it is well worth the money. Good Luck!

You should see a doctor about that. It sounds like you have a cold sore, which is a form of herpes. I would have it looked at just to make sure its not some sort of allergic reaction to something.

For 10 years this one clinic kept giving me ointments, pills, flonaze, atrovent, other nasal sprays, etc. You name it, they had a rotating staff. As I kept getting a returning outbreak of blisters, by my nose & upper lip. I was told numerous times it was herpes. I moved from that area to the other side of town, went to a new clinic, the internist doctor told me "That's not herpes! It is a fungus infection, in the sinus' due to allergies", I got some XClear with xylitol nasal spray at the health food store, did a liver cleanse,[kit-herbal] and I haven't had an outbreak since. Allergies are an attack on your immune system at the liver. I worked in a really polluted environment, I keep XClear with me, in my purse. This stuff works. so, it is worth a try for you, so that you won't have to go thru the time & expense that I did!!! I hate doctors, they are good for certain things, like antibodics if your dying, or in an emergency, or for hip replacements, knee replacements, but as far as I'm concerned, they want to keep you on drugs all for the money. I hope this helps! I learned my lesson.

What you have are cold sore.you must keep medication on them are they can leave a mark.Herpes are all in the mouth they don't have no water or puss in them. They don't go away its no cure for it.If it don't go away consult a doctor. If you are with more than one partner you are at risk for herpes. If you're are having sex with your partner make sure you use protection. If you are going to give oral sex check for sores on their private parts. If you see sores or puss don't give oral sex and don't have sex with them. You can still get STD or Aids or HIV from giving oral sex.
