if her hymen is intact that is one way, but your hymen or cherry can be ripped by use of tampons, they are trained to be able to tell things like that

a woman is born with a small thin piece of skin in the vagina that is called a hymen and it is often used as an indicator. not always tho since the hymen can be broken by other means (accidental or tampons even)
