This is my first article for this site and my first piece of writing in 2 or 3 years. I know I'm rusty, but I was hoping to get some feedback on how helpful and informative it was for being a small work of writing. My profile page is:

http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/60693/jayme_wilson.html

The name of it is article is

TVP: A Totally Versatile Product for Vegans

It will be the only one under my profile.

Thank you for your help. I appreciate any and all serious comments.

Sugar: No worries. I was a little disappointed with the photo too. The batteries on digital camera were low and I just took some quick shoots so I could get them on to my computer before it died.

Billy - Your very right. I noticed it right that after they published it. I don't know how me and my proof reader missed it.

Very interesting. I always wondered how to get the raw ingredients for TVP. Many years ago I would eat at vegetarian restaurants and buy canned versions of meat, etc. but didn't know how to make my own. I'll try some of your suggestions. The only thing I can suggest to improve the article is if you say how much sodium instead of very little sodium as I am on a low salt diet and that is important to me now. Good work. Keep it up.

It is written well. It is good that you mentioned how it is processed because that is one aspect I was thinking about while reading. I do comment though that I don't know why any vegan or vegetarian would try to cook TVP to taste deliberately like chicken beef- of course that is personal preference but if the article is primarily for vegetarians to read then they might not get why that would be a suggested recipe idea.
Also would like to bring up the fact that apart from being processed, TVP and similar products such as tofu have been claimed to be unhealthy due to the chemicals etc regarding soy (not sure if specifics but it is worth researching). Soy products are healthy if they have ben fermented for over a year (I think it was 1 year or so). So while soy products don't upset most people's health- it is worth trying not to have it every day (based on research I have read about it).
I still think soy tastes good though.

I liked your article! I like you you used TVP (textured Vegetable protein) and made it mean Totally Versatile Product. Cute!

Now, don't me mad, but I thought the photo was lackluster. Looked like it was anemic... maybe place it on some greenery, or show some browned from stir-frying? Also, how about a pic of how it looks when you buy it in "grains" in the bulk section?

Overall, very helpful! enjoyed it.

Then do not write it by way of a 3rd individual point of view. You do not have to installed facts or ballot /survey outcome to your article. You write strictly what you suppose. Try making use of private reports.

Very helpful, but I think you used the word "dehydrate" when you meant "rehydrate". Am I right?

I think that you write very well, though, being an omnivore, I found your subject distasteful. Good luck.
