Try not to worry about what you might "become" when you have no definite knowledge of that fact. Please see your doctor for testing. It accomplishes nothing to worry about something that "might" be...get the proof first.
Did you know that those two symptoms can also be other things as well? In fact, it could be hypoglycemia...low blood sugar due to improper eating (skipping meals or eating meals too far apart). In fact, that is what your situation sounds like since you felt better after consuming a sugary product.
A diabetic has too much sugar in his blood and he would not feel better after consuming sugar...instead, he would feel worse and could develop ketoacidosis...a life threatening condition.
You don't mention anything about your fluid intake and usually the first noticed symptom of diabetes is excessive thirst. Symptoms of diabetes include:
excessive thirst
excessive urination
extreme hunger
unexplained weight loss
visual issues
being irritable
increased fatigue
Please do yourself a favor and see a doctor.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

If you are worried the first thing to do is see your doctor, in the UK there are something like 1.5 million people who have diabetes and don't know it.
That said my wife gets shaky after doing some gardening and she also pee's a few times during the night - but she isn't diabetic. I think it could be a low blood glucose - but that doesn't maske you diabetic.
If you have a friend who is diabetic ask if you can borrow their blood monitor to check youe BG at various times of the day, anything between 4.0mmol and 8.mmol is generally accepted as OK

Are you eating a properly balanced diet? Try not to eat sugar a lot, but eat good carbs like fruit and whole grain breads. If you are worried about becoming diabetic a visit to your doctor and simple blood work will give you the answers you need. Best wishes.

I do get these attacks a few times a week. You need to make sure to eat all your meals and eat high protein snacks. It you are hypoglycemic, you need to limit your carb intake. I was diagnose pre-diabetic and they can't do anything for my hypoglycemic attacks. I carry glucose tablets with me, in case of these attacks. If you find a doctor that cares or believes you - you are really lucky. I heard about them and I found none. It's like bigfoot :p

Check with your doctor immediately. He/she can have different tests run to see if you are becoming a diabetic.

A simple blood test will tell, but you'll need a dr's prescription to have it done.
If you do. it is more a pain in the ^^^ than anything else, although you will have to watch your diet.
