I'm not much of a bean eater either but I can deal with them by sneaking them into some foods (tacos, chili etc). I get my protein mostly from grains, soya products and cheese.

You do not need beans, simply be sure to have other staples in your diet, like nuts, green vegetables, dried fruits, maybe egg if you are allowed, visit and Asian food market or maybe a Hindi Food market and try different thinks. The more varied your diet is, the better for you. Try soy products, but also chickpea products! Don't forget lentils, peas, and sea veggies. All these are very nutritious.

I don't know if you will be able to get away from eating beans because veggie patties, chicken and stake are all made of beans (soy beans). The good part is that they don't taste like beans though. However, if you still don't want to eat any kind of bean, try nuts like peanuts and walnuts.

You don't have to eat them. You can eat other things, just make sure to get enough protein.
Have you tried lots of different kinds of beans? Maybe you will find a kind you like. You can't hate them all!

You can try fish but since your vegetarian you can also try soybeans that can also be used as milk. That's one way.
Another way is soy-cheese or almond cheese (also in milk) probably not the best substitute, but that's my answer.
It's ok as long as you balance your diet with food that has the same qualities as beans.
Hope this helps!

possibly peanuts (a legume) or chickpeas (and hummus) or nuts? Do you hate all beans? Vegetarians usually mix beans and grains to get enough protein with the right mix of amino acids...you could use Bragg's aminos in your cooking ( a type of soy sauce)...and you could use grains with higher amounts of protein (buckwheat (TeeJays has buckwheat pancakes, or they used to) , amaranth, quinoa)...or fake meats made of Quark (look in frozen food section)...if you are a lacto-ovo vegetarian, then you probably don't need to worry about protein...but if you are a vegan, then you need to watch more closely what types and amounts of proteins you are eating..

Try some types you have never tried before. Red, yellow, or green Lentils, cooked in veggie stock are delicious. So are
aduki, kidney, pinto, navy, and great northern beans. Try them in favorite recipes as a meat sub. Try different seasonings. My 12 year old veggie daughter didnt like them at first, now she loves a patty made from mashed potato and bean, or bean and cheese tacos and burrittos. If you simply are unwilling to try them different ways, you can get plenty of protein from fake meats made from tofu. I dont personally like fake meat. Good luck

Why don't you like beans? Is it just the way they're cooked? You could substitute peanuts - they're also legumes. Other nuts are closer to grains in amino acid quality.
