In the modern day, most of the people I know and have spoken to have for a while, had unprotected sex with people they didnt know, or had only known a very short time. My genuinely serious question is, how many people on here have done something like that, and would you be offended if a partner asked you to get tested for STD's or AIDS?

Personally, I've always used protection but if a partner asked me to get tested for their own peace of mind I would. I have been tested just for my own benefit in the past.

And if my partner said that had unprotected sex, I'd have no problem making the same request of them. If they get offended well that's just too bad.

No one should take unnecessary risks in that area.

Yes, I have had sexual contact with people I did not know very well. No, I would not be at all offended if someone asked me to get tested for any STD, including HIV.

In this day and age, with STDs so common, I think it would be very irresponsible NOT to ask. When you have sexual relations with someone, you are not only having it with that person, but also with all the people that person has slept with. It's a chain and sometimes a deadly one.

Because of the nature of my job (I'm an EMT), I get tested on a regular basis (every 3 months and whenver I have had a possible exposure).

I wouldn't be offended. It is a matter of life and death sometimes.
If you ask a person to have STD test and they are offended, they are probably not the right person for you, because they don't want to be truthful in some way.

For me, it's mandatory at the start of a new relationship, if we're going to stop using condoms. I would only be offended if the other person refused to take one as well.

I would not be offended because I'm a guy and this is practical. A woman would be offended.

I may decide that for the person requesting it wasn't worth the aggravation though.

specific. Your one occasion does not deify the the remainder of prepared exertions. I agree no person would desire to have tenure, it motives abuse, laziness, apathy, not incentive to artwork and do a stable job. Unions should not be in the Electronics industry--whilst workers *****, the artwork is purely shipped distant places. See Spectra Physics 2 years in the past. Unions purely have power in shape, etc, issues we will not have performed distant places. the full reason unions stared grew to become into to get risk-free working circumstances, minumum wqage, that has effects on all workers now.Withoiut them, we could pass back to the ninetenth century. do not u you have faith for one minute employers could police themselves, all of them purely want max earnings. I purely agree some have too lots power. The UAW at GM allowed a worker, any worker, to quit the line at any time for something. workers who proteseted their union's own policies reported this. And We bailed them out. I hate to assert this, besides the shown fact that this is sink or swim. Any corporation that runs itself out of corporation like this could finally reorganise below extra advantageous policies, and bigger products to compete, besides. purely feeding coal to the hearth makes it worse.

it would actually make me feel really great if someone asked me to get tested because I would hope it means he asks everyone he has been with to get tested and is thus conscientious of his partners and himself. I would happily go get tested with someone I was dating..

I've only had oral sex (90% of the time on the receiving end) so I've never had to use a condom.
