The doctors put a tube into him for the water to run out.the colour of the water is red and some fleshly things are coming out with the water. He also a has a cold which he cough alot The doctors say they do not know what sickness he has.

I'm not sure we'll be able to tell you either.

It might help if we knew where the tube was - down his throat like an endotracheal tube, or into his side like a chest drain.

Possibilities run the gamut from:
o Drowning
o Haemothorax
o Pleural effusion
o Pulmonary Oedema
and this only describes the water in his lung(s) - not the underlying illness that put it there.

My dad had maybe something similar. They said he had fluids in his lung. So they took a tube & put it in his lungs & drained the fluid out which it looked like what u describe & it was blood & somewhat puccy. If I recall, it might have been double pneumonia. Not for sure, but after a long while of draining he was fine!
