It may be just a regular Soarthrought, I had a BAD soarthrought once and It hurt really bad.

I think u should try some of these Ideas:

1. Gargle with warm salt water (DO NOT swallow)

2. Eat a spoonfull of Honey.

3. Eat some WARM chicken noodle soup.

4. Drink Gatorade

5. Suck on some VERY MINTY cough drops.

6. Try some throught medicine ("Fisherman's Friend", I heard tastes really bad, but works really good.).

7. Don't eat dry or hard foods, just wet, moist, and soft foods, Maybe really cold Ice Cream.

8. Take Cough Syrup.

9. Try Drinking Milk.

10. Get plenty of Rest (Maybe take a few "Cat Naps" During the day.) Ur body can fight germs when its well rested.

Hope this Helps! :-D Good Luck! :-D

P.S. Try not 2 talk and use ur throught 2 much.

Yes, you have a cold. I had this a couple of months ago, no runny nose, no temperature, etc., just a cough, but it lasted many days, because I thought it was nothing and i kept working and going out in the cold, so it persisted. I advise you to stay warm, have some herbal tea and throat pastilles, drink freshly squeezed orange juice for the vitamines and stay at home when it is not necessary to go out, until you are fine.

I started with that and it lasted me a week. I felt like i was dying. Have something to kill the sore throat. It always starts there. You'll end up having a bunged up nose and a painful throat infection to which you can eat nothing but... icecream. Ok, the only good point.

Get it sorted and goodluck.

Boy that's a lot of points to give awat for one sore throat.

Plenty of cool fluids + paracetamol are good. Lockets might soothe it a bit I guess. Antibiotics have only a tiny place and little effect on the speed of resolution. Neither gargling with aspirin, which actually inflames the throat, or salt are now ever recommended medically!

Obviously you're developing a cold! Maybe tomorrow you'll start to get a temperture or maybe get a runny nose. Maybe its a 24 hour thing, maybe not.

It sounds like a cold or just some signs of another virus. My advice is to take some airborne. My mother is a nurse, and she says that airborne is great to burst your immune sytem. You can even use it when you aren't sick.Trust me! It works Great!!!!!! Good Luck!

It could just be sinus drainage, causing it to irritate your throat if you have any sinus problems this is the season for stuff like that, the same thing happens to me from time to time
