the range yesterday was from 90-120/74-82. On Thursday it was very high and this is why I am monitoring after the doctor told me it was very high. No meds for blood pressure involved. Went to the pharmacy on friday took a few times it was 143/70 and then 133/67 and since then has been very low. Very week and no strenght a bit confused in language at times. What does it mean?

1 or 2 times a year i have a problem with my BP...It goes way high. one time it was 240/180. They gave me drugs that stopped my heart for a 1/2 second. I always feel the attacks coming on...Even woke my kids one time to say good bye< this is a word we NEVER use in my house. good bye is it and i felt like i was going to die. I can sometimes fight them off but its not easy, Some Drs think its a attack...My nerves but it comes out of nowhere. I found when i am not doing good i make the trips to the store to check my BP, I know its high and as the machine starts i kinda freak out knowing its going to be a high #. Stay away from the machine, I wont buy 1 cause i know i will use it anytime i dont feel good. Keep close to your DR dont monitor it as much(get the ok from your DR for this) Low BP is bad also. If you go from real high to real low you need to see a specialist...Maybe this is out of your DRs range. Sometimes our family docs think they can handle all our problems, they are good but they have limite...Thats why we have specialists. Go see one, let your Dr know you are doing it for a second opinion. You owe your DR...NOTHING!!! He did his job...pass the buck now, Its your life do all you can. I have a wife and 4 kids. I have no problem going over my family DRs head with problems. I have been with my family DR since i was a small kid...He gave me my baby shots and i am now 42. But its my life..go see a specialist. best of luck to you

The electronic blood pressure cuffs are not always reliable. I bought one for my mom and just out of curiosity I noticed it changed quite a bit between the 90's and 120's. Your pressure also tends to be different in each arm. My average B/P at the doctors offie is around 94/66 give or take. I'ts fine. So is 120/74 which is perfect. The higher B/P could be from computer malfunction, stress, to just having high blood pressure. If you are worried call your doctor in the morning. Manual b/p is better and more acurate. Low blood pressure can come from lack of fluids so if you are not drinking water that could be a reason. Hope this helps.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

The monitors in the pharmacy are horrible. they are seldom calibrated and they are all over the place. You may have been high with the md because of something called white coat hypertension. you get nervous when the doctor is taking your pressure. by an inexpensive monitor that goes on the arm, not the wrist or the finger they are completely inaccurate. the way to calibrate is to take to the doctor and make sure they're the same. Also, some health professionals take HORRIBLE blood pressure readings! Have your doc check for anemia and thyriod issues. good luck

How old are you? High Blood pressure is almost always silent, low blood pressure is associated with dizziness. Weakness and confusion is nothing related to blood pressure. Take good fluids intake, and consult a cardiologist.

1). If you were "confused in language at times" (not counting sp errors), I doubt you would be able to have composed the above text.
2). Go to the MD if you are not feeling well..obviously
3). Stop obsessing about your Blood Pressure. It changes all the time. Let the MD's advise you the proper course to take regarding your Blood Pressure problem, if one exists.

you also need another doctor like yesterday!!!

its good to monitor your blood pressure.
but do [seriously] find another doctor that cares for the people and not the money.
and have the doctor do a blood count on you. you may have some internal problem

The machines at the pharmacy are not always reliable. People's bp do vary. Just keep an eye on it, and see what happens.
