Take you baby to the ER. Don't try to medicate at home with such a small baby...
Depending on where you live, Feb and March are bad times for RSV and if that is what it is, the baby will go down hill very fast... so it is best to see a physician.
Don't worry about feeling silly if it is just a cold...there is nothing more important than your child and you can't mess around with dosages with such a small baby.

Children can go downhill very quickly. If your baby is having problems catching their breath take them straight to the hospital emergency room. Sometimes being in a steamy room helps with coughs, it helps loosen phlegm, you can also try laying baby on your lap on their belly and patting and rubbing their back, this also helps loosen the phlegm. Good luck :-)

if the doctor said the baby is not sick then it must be something else.. maybe allergies
do you have a pet? have you dusted? do you have plants in the house? what type of detergent do you use?
look around first and see if there is something you could eliminate from the area and see what happens
otherwise im not sure what you could give your baby... you could go to a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist.. maybe he could help!
Good Luck

Take him to emergency room. Don't self-medicate if you don't know what is wrong exactly.
Good luck.
