how many patients get better from lung disease?

Copd is irreversiable, However the patients quality of life with there breathing can improve with the rightj medication combos and pulmonary rehab, there pulmonary function does slightly improve with all of the above also.
Asthma is another that never goes away however they do respond to medications very well.
Pulmonary fibrosis is irreversiable also.....

This is a difficult question to answer considering it depends on what type of lung disease a person has. If they have a chronic lung disease, they will not get better, they will have times that they feel better but the disease is still active, if they have an acute lung disease they have a higher chance of getting better as long as they are treated properly.
