In my experience, no salt, no alcohol,a good diet and a doctor to provide you with the right blood pressure meds. try searching high blood pressure on google they will give you a lot of information.

If you are talking about from the medication standpoint, a dr can help you find something that will help your high blood pressure. They will also give you info on diet too that will help.

A healthy diet, low sodium intake, lack of stress, regular exercise(moderate not over doing it & building up gradually), cutting out caffeine, reducing alcohol intake, a glass of red wine a night, motherwart, hawthorne, selenium, garlic, omega 3 fatty oils, magnesium, calcium, vitamin e (be cautious with usiing vitamin E if your bp is above 180 systolic)

Bananas,magnesium,Fish oil,and a lot of other things.Theses are what I do they help a lot
