there are loads of prodcuts you can buy that are similar to meat'. The main maker of this is 'quorn' i dont know if you get that there, but it is big in angland. All supermarkets i have ever been in have a vegetarian range of 'meats'. most taste just as good, so they are definetley worth a try.
You can use any normal recipe with them, so if your parents are cooking for you or whatever you can just add that. to replace the meat.
Some of my other favourite recipes are honey and ginger stir fry. Im not sure how to make this, but i presume you just add the honey and ginger to the sauce, and fry any vegetables such as peppers, jalepenos, beans, carrots, etc etc.
Mushroom curry. You can buy curry sauces, and then just add muhrooms and vegetables and rice.
pasta arrabiata-this is quite spicy, and it is jut pasta, in a red tomatoey hot sauce, with hot vegatables.
Erm...there are hundreds more but i dont know what kind of food you like, so...oh yeh!
Try tortellini-pasta 'packets' you can fill them with cheeses, tomato, etc.
Tortilla wraps are lovely (warmed) especially with salsa/colesaw and salad and cheese etc.
hope that helps! i have loads but no itme to write them all, sorry!

where i live you can get vegan wiener schitzel., burger patties, and vegetarian bacon and chicken..can also get vegan saugages. also you can get fake mince frozen and in a can. try and go for the textured vegetable protein (tvp) products or the ones made out of wheat gluten as these can be tastier than the tofu ones. look out in your supermarket for the vegetarian section..look out for the tofu and stuff and it should be there. or ask. if your local supermarket does not have it try a healthfood or wholefood store and they probably will. sometimes you'll need to flavor the mince with some soya sauce or salt. then you just use it all like ya would regular meat.

I buy it for my son all the time. You can find it in the Heath Food section of most super markets, or check at the local
co-op. As to what it is mad of there are a lot of things it is made of. I know they use soy, vegetables, cheese and grains. I hope that I have been some help to you.

Amy's is a good brand of foods. they're organic. Boca has several products that are good. I also like another brand, whose name I forgot and can't find online. they're not meat at all, but are made from soy and other ingredients. you can buy them at any grocery store. I get mine at WalMart.

They have vegetarian hotdogs and tofu at most grocery stores now.
You can find it along with the Soy milks.
They also have bacon and burger meat.
Its not too pricey.

Morningstar Farms steak strips are the best! I use them in stir fry, sandwiches, rice dishes - they're pretty good just heated out of the bag.
