Okay... so about a week ago, I got really drunk and "went down" on this guy... you know oral sex... well I want to know what you guys think I need to do to get "checked" for STD's and stuff?... I figure I should just go to the gyno... but I don't want to tell my mom and she knows I don't want to go to the gyno yet... what should I do??? Please help!!

There are no symptoms yet, but can't you still have an STD without symptoms? And also I didn't finish... so he didn't ***, but I don't know about precum and all that...

For some STDs it takes a while for symptoms to appear. It can be hidden for months or years and not expose until something in your life brings it about. You can always go to a clinic and get checked I suppose. I do know you can contract herpes from oral sex if the individual has symptoms present or not. Just be safer and don't do oral sex on every one you meet and leave the alcohol along if it's going to impair your decision making in the future.

first off, being drunk IS NOT an excuse for doing something like that with some random guys. ne way you better get checked if you start getting symptoms

Go to the clinic and get checked just to be on the safe side. Most clinics (depending on your state laws) will see you and treat you with out a parent.

There should be a free clinic in your area. Some you don't even have to give your real name.

any signs or symptoms of anything? have them wear a condom for any type of sex. go to a free clinic and they keep it all confidential if you can get there without your mom.

it is better to be safe than sorry. there are alot of treatments for std theese days early they are caught better results you get. next time make sure you know your partner.
