and I have to show up in person to get the results. Is this the anonymous testing or confidential testing? I'm assuming its the anonymous, so does that mean when they get back the blood from the lab it will just have my number attached to it? and they can't know who the blood belongs to unless the person shows up with the number to claim it?

If you haven't disclosed any identifying info then it's confidential, usually anonymous isn't in person at all, it's through the mail or over the phone. Either way your privacy is still protected under a confidentiality agreement. Good for you for getting tested!

hi,
i have been through the testing also and its more anonymous testing, with confidential results. hence the number and no names. it's for our protection. and yes, without that number, you won't get the results. good luck! I hope this helped! :)
