You should get in and see your regular doctor and have him draw up some labs to see what your cardiac enzymes look like and also to run an EKG. Also, he needs to refer you to a cardiologist to have a holter monitor placed on you that you keep with you for a couple of days. But most importantly, if you are having chest pain, go to the ER or call an ambulance, it is better safe than sorry. I too am 24 and wind up hospitalized 1-2 times a year for unknown chest pain, I also have a cardiologist that I see every six months to run a series of tests.

you should see a cardiologist and get a ekg, maybe an echo cardiogram of your heart, blood work, and a x-ray.
you could just be having pvc's (premature heart beats) that can be caused from different types of heart conditions, some serious and some are not and may or may not have any impact on your life.
it could also be panick attacks, its amazing the things stress can do to your body.
if you really feel bad, its better to be safe than sorry, go to the er and get checked out.
imformation is the most powerful tool, keep informed.

Are you drinking a lot of caffeine? You can get palpitations from that. Might you be having an anxiety reaction to stress? I'd look up anxiety attacks on a trusted medical web site. When I used to get heart palpitations, either straining (like you're trying to push something out!) or coughing would get the heart to settle. I had to stop drinking two shot lattes! If the episodes continue, it might not be a bad idea to consult a physician to get a diagnosis. Kind of sounds like a stress reaction to me, but I'm just a mom!!!

Could be anxiety attacks. I had them too. I knew I was under stress, but I always thought that I was good at managing it. Especially after I had my son, he was a year and a half when I got them. My body could not take me stacking up all the stress so I began having arrhythmic heartbeats. You can take anxiety medication, but be sure to get a thorough check of your heart to rule out anything else.

It could be a precursor to a myocardial infarction (heart attack). Best action to take is contact a chelation physician and get an examination. Chelation therapy is expensive but bypass surgery is ten times as expensive and 100 times more painful.

Could be a heart problem,,,or it could be panic attacks! Either way, you need to see your doctor right away, just to make sure that it isn't something serious,,,or go to the ER and get it checked out,,,

It very well could be acid reflux. Your body could be producing too much acid . It has same effects like heart pain. Now still go ahead and get tested for heart stuff.....but dont forget that it could be acid reflux also.
I suffered from it for years. You can talk to me on yahoo messenger also : realpunjabimc@yahoo.com

You need to get an EKG done to evaluate for an arrythmia. THis can be benign and in most cases it is but sometimes it can be serious.

I really think you should see a doctor, it could be heart or it could be an anxiety attack. Either one can be serious.
