10 weeks test of negative is encouraging but the recommended time to wait for the window period is 3 months at least and 6 months. Therefore, I would suggest you to take the test again in 12 weeks after the possible exposure just in case the antibodies slow down to show up. in some cases, antibodies don't show up until 6 months but these cases are rare. usually 1 month or 2 after the exposure, however, to determine the risk of fault result, scientist suggest to wait 3 months.
It will not hurt you much by testing again in 12 weeks or 13 weeks, but it will benefit you in a way. if you are sure you encounter with high level of risk (eg: having unprotected intercourse with HIV+ person), 6 months testing is suggested to make conclusive answer. However, if you had protected sex, non ejeculated, or just oral or fingering or other low risk activities, then 3 months tests can be conclusive.
Good Luck !

The answer is NO

HIV test detects "proteins" that are not always specific to HIV. In fact, the food and drug adminstration has this warning in all the HIV test kit. Doctors never read that.

The question one needs to ask is: does a HIV positive test means the presence of HIV? The very next question that comes to mind is does any one in the world have absolute proof that HIV causes AIDS.

There is something called the window period. Most people infected with HIV will have detectable antibodies within 3 months of exposure to HIV, the average being 25 days. Rarely, it can take up to six months.
