Colds will take 7 days to get over, whether you medicate them or not. THe fever is uncomfortable because it gives you a headache and makes your body ache..I'm sorry. Tylenol or Motrin might help in this instance. If you have been running a fever for 4 days, if I read that right, you might want to see your doctor, as you may have an infection that requires some additional help by giving you an antibiotic. Drik lots of water, stay in bed and get lots of rest! Don't worry about this...summer is still a long way off and you'll be fine soon.

For quick head relief.
Try a saline nasal RINSE (not a spray) A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean). I've been doing it at work too.
The buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot. The special bottle and salt is about $20.
You can do this a often as you like with no bad side effects.
You don’t need a prescription for this therapy. So if you live in a state like mine, they’ve pretty much “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-free is really the way to go on a frequent-use basis. (I put in a link for “what” and “how” – there’s also some good info on wiki

Hmmm... I think you need to take it easy. Rest, drink plenty of fluids, and get some good cold medicine. If you aren't better by Monday, or if you start getting worse, get to the doctor.
Don't be so worried about the summer... you have a couple more months before then and I am sure you will have kicked this cold by then!!!

Sounds like you've got a cold/sinus cold. Take some Tylenol Cold or other similar cold medications. If it doesn't go away in a few days, schedule a Doctor's appointment.
