My Local Chinese does chicken in a garlic sauce with spring onions and i love it but when i asked them for the recipe they said no but i really wanna make it does anyone have any idea on how to make it???? Please help!

Spicy Garlic Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1 lb.)
1 egg white
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
1 Tablespoon dry white wine or sherry
4 green onions
1 teaspoon minced gingerroot
3 teaspoons minced fresh garlic (about 6 medium cloves)
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
Hot cooked rice

Sauce Ingredients

1 teaspoon crushed chili paste (sambal oelek), or more to taste
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 teaspoons rice vinegar
1 Tablespoon water
2 Tablespoons dry white wine or sherry
2 Tablespoons soy sauce

Place chicken breasts in the freezer for about 1 hour for ease of cutting.
Slice crosswise into thin shreds.
In a medium-sized bowl,lightly beat egg white, then mix in 1 TBS cornstach and 1 TBS wine.
Stir until the cornstarch is dissolved.
Add the chicken and mix well to coat.
Let stand in frig for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, slice green onions on the diagonal into very thin slices.
Mince ginger root and garlic.
Combine Sauce ingredients, mixing well.
Heat wok or frying pan, add oil, and stir-fry chicken until is no longer pink.
Remove chicken with a slotted spoon.
Add onions, ginger and garlic to wok and stir-fry about 30 seconds, until ginger and garlic are fragrant but not brown.
Return the chicken to wok; Stir sauce ingredients and add to wok.
Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is well combined, hot and bubbly
and thickened slightly.
Turn off heat and splash with about 1 tsp of dark sesame oil.

Serve over rice.

Makes 4 servings.

Simple... 1 Pound chicken (Brine with salt,pepper,sugar,vinegar)

For the Sauce

Hoisin Sauce
Mushroom Flavor Sauce
Drops of Lea & Perrins
Chili Garlic or dried Chili
3 garlic cloves (Use a garlic presser )
Drops of Sesame Oil


1. Cut chicken in cubes & stir fry season with salt & pepper & garlic powder.

2. Pour the sauces & add garlic towards the end of cooking.

Garnish with Scallions

Garlic Chicken

INGREDIENTS
2 teaspoons crushed garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Warm the garlic and olive oil to blend the flavors. In a separate dish, combine the bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Dip the chicken breasts in the olive oil and garlic mixture, then into the bread crumb mixture. Place in a shallow baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until no longer pink and juices run clear.

CHINESE GARLIC CHICKEN

You could always try a google search and you should be able to find many recipes from all types of cultures!! I love those Chinese Garlic Chicken dishes too!!! YUM!

Take small pieces of boneless chicken 500gms,marinade in a)chilly paste 2tsp, b)garlic paste 5tsp,c)corn flour 1/2 cup,d) tomato paste 1/2 cup, e) soya sauce 2tsp,f) whipped egg 1,g)venegar 4tsp,h)black pepper powder 1/2 tsp, i)white pepper powder 1/2 tsp, j) salt and ajinomoto to taste.Mix it thoroughly and put it in cool place for two hours.Now fry it.Let it be fried,till light brown.Now in wok heat 5tsp seasame oil,add crushed garlic 10 gms,5gms julienned ginger,200 gms shredded spring onion,one piece juliened capsicum dor 4 minutes,add fried chicken.stir for 5 minutes and enjoy the garlic chicken

I'm not to sure which recipe that might be..but they usually start with a oyster sauce base, soy, ginger, garlic and spring onions are just green onions
