Unless you don't want to make your own tofu, soy beans are best in combination with other food, because they tend to be a bit bland. I serve them with fresh slightly cooked spinach and a bit of garlic, or mixed with other beans in a chili non carne or in a mixed green salad, Or I mash them up with 2 Tbsp of nutritional yeast flakes, soy sauce, fresh herbs , crashed garlic and a bit of chili powder or curry powder.

You have to soak them at least six hours and drain them - they take a long time to cook. Just as soy beans they are not very good you have to really spice them up to make them palatable.

Be careful.I ate some one time and got gas so bad that I thought I would blow up...not kidding..Someone told me that you really have to know how to prepare them or that will happen.Havent eaten them since.They were pretty good tho,made up into a sort of tamale pie.

soak overnight in water. next day cook them and eat them. first cook beans until soft and filter and set aside. then fry onion, tomato, garlic (all chopped fine) add beans and stir fry for a couple of minutes, add salt, pinch of sugar and you are ready to eat. or just cookbeans and set aside and chill it. add your favorite salad dressing. and eat
