Ask your doctor if you might be having anxiety attacks or worse yet , a gall bladder attack. Had that problem, with the gall bladder attack myself. I was told it does feel like a heart attack.

To be on the safe side I would be sure to get a second opinion by a different doctor. Based on your age you probably are having what's often referred to as heart burn. Heart burn is where the acid from your stomach gets pushed up into your esophagus and it causes a painful sensation in your chest and sometimes your throat. Even though it feels like your heart is hurting, it has nothing to do with your heart, that is why the slang name for it is "heart burn".

It sounds like when you sit down, your stomach acid is getting pushed up into your esophagus.
When you go to the doctor again, you should ask him about having heart burn aka acid reflux. Some people are prone to acid reflux, that's why you may be having it and none of your friends are.

I would suggest going to a drug store and asking a pharmacist to show you the best over the counter medicine you can buy for heart burn (tums, mylanta etc...) and try that asap! Also, try cutting anything that is too spicy or greasy out of your diet for a while-no pizza, chips, nachos, stuff like that.

You need more tests. You need to get an ECHO done, which is an ultrasound of the heart.

Do they only happen when you sit down? Maybe something is pressing on your heart or your heart compresses when you sit which causes the pain.

You should not have pain like that at 12. Go see a cardiac specialist.

The causes of Left-Sided Chest Pain (in the heart region) are multiple and, in a 12 year old , it is unlikely to be the classical coronary heart disease.

It is only your doctor who should investigate ,with the appropriate tests, the origin of the pain. At least he excluded a cardiac origin though he has not reached the definitive diagnosis.

Good Luck.

If you eat the wrong things ...it could give you heartburn, which feels like an attack.
