sometimes a few hours after i take my yaz birth control i have a pain in a vein in my neck, i told my gyno that i had this diesese and she seemed like it was no big deal and still prescibed me yaz, am i just being paranoid?

Mitral valve prolapse is relatively common with 2-3% of the total population having the condition. It is not so much a disease as it is a phenomena. It has no symptoms, requires no treatment, and people who have MVP have a normal life expectancy. Oral birth control should have nothing to do with MVP. Therefore, given the options, I would have to conclude that you are being paranoid.

mitral valve prolapse is really not a big deal ..and the pain u described has nothing to do with mvp..but its better that u have a confirmatory check up from another doctor
