I have a friend that this problem. whenever she takes a deep breath in or just a breath her left lung would hurt.

I have a friend that this problem. whenever she takes a deep breath in or just a breath her left lung would hurt. she doesn't smoke at all. she is about 15 years old. she has never been in any kind or car accident or any other kind. she likes playing sports.

Could be lots of thing. Mine was because a blood clot that was in my leg broke off and traveled into my lung.

Has she been around second hand smoke or asbestoes ?

Maybe she has a broke or cracked her rib, or may be she had a brokeen rib that healed improperly. She should see a doctor.

could be bronchitis, or pneumonia. She may need to go to doc to be safe , could be number of things,you are a good friend to look out for her....

I have the same problem. I have Asthma and it just tells me to use my emergency inhaler.

does she smoke? how old is she? how long has it been going on? it could be anything ranging from bronchitis, to pneumothorax to pulmonary embolism. she should see her doctor.

...does she smoke? maybe her lung collasped or something. that can happen randomly
