Taco Bell has largely gone to a commissary system that provides pre-made beans to their restaurants because a lot of the managers were bad about adding drippings from the taco meat into them. Just be warned that some ******* are still around and like to do that!

Taco Bell graciously paid for some hospital bills of mine after I got a bite of one treated that way. I also get a lot more attention from them when I call about a location not following the recipes! Some stores add taco meat to the 7 layer so watch out for that!

They still tend to be a desert for vegans but if your TB's still do "fresco style" it helps a bunch. Make use of the link that Lovely gave you! She saved me from having to dig through my link list! Thumbs up to her for that.

I think you are good, here is a quote I found from a woman who asked the Taco Bell company about their burriotos after posting a blog about how awesome taco bell is for vegans and getting a repsonce that was like, haha, they are not!

"There is no chicken stock in Taco Bell Seasoned Rice!

...but there is casein (sodium caseinate) in there, so Taco Bell's Seasoned Rice is "almost vegan." Legal for me, but if you don't go for any dairy, don't get the rice when you order a bean burrito with no cheese.

The rest of it is okay. The tortillas are clean, the beans are vegan, and of course so are the vegetables, and the hot sauce is too. As well as a number of different stuff on their menu. I got the entire low-down from them and I do appreciate it.

According to what I've read, they don't have lard in their beans.

On their website, it says a bean burrito (without cheese) has 0 cholesterol. If it had lard it would have some cholesterol, since cholesterol comes from animal products (why I said without cheese).

no. You can go to the taco bell website and find ingredients lists and nutrition information on all of the food they serve.

No, but I wouldn't eat their anyways. (vegetarian for four years). They are linked with KFC and Pizza Hut. And I will not eat food from any of those places.
The only restaurant I eat at now is Subway.
