I wouldn't be so narrow minded as to think yoga exercises are any better for diabetics than any other type of exercise. In fact, any aerobic exercise does wonders for diabetics. The more you huff and puff, the better. Yoga doesn't make me huff and puff much. If you want a scientific paper, read my blood test. It shows an HbA1C of 5.8, so I'm not making this stuff up....

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.
