Yes, it's safe. But it's also wise to look at the ingredients to make sure that just because it says sugar free, doesn't mean there aren't other sugary additives.

However, it's important to also make sure to keep an eye out for the "sugar free" ice cream versus the "no added sugar" ice cream. A lot of people mistake them for being the same when they really aren't. The "no sugar added" simply means that no extra sugar was added during the process, but does not mean that the entire product is sugar free.

The artificial sweeteners are worse for you in the long run than the refined sugar.

According to recent studies conducted by the Pritikin Longevity Center, diabetes starts from too much fat in the diet and insufficient exercise, not malfunction of the pancreas or too much sugar as previously thought. The pancreas continues to produce insulin when you have diabetes but the body becomes insulin resistant. Research has shown that over 90% of diabetes cases can be TOTALLY CORRECTED with diet and exercise. That means that you don't have to have limbs removed due to diabetes-induced gangrene. You don't have to go blind or suffer cardiovascular abnormalities because of diabetes. You can actually REVERSE some of these conditions with diet (nutrition, not weight loss) and exercise, and the removal of parasites and candida.

Best of luck.

m88b is right. That sugar free stuff usually still has tons of carbs in it, plus it will make you poop 45,000 times. I personally would just eat a small amount of the plain ice cream.

read the ingredients first. if they have nutritional values then watch out for carbohydrates. if not, look at the ingredients and look for anything ending in -ose, like fructose or sucrose. then starches. and then watch for the flavoring. mango ice cream usually mixes plain sugarfree ice cream with real mango bits, so there's still sugar even if they don't put any.

hope that helps.

People still haven't learned yet, that it is the CARBS we need to be watching. The carbs turn into sugar in our bodies. So the more carbs there are per serving, the more sugar!

I wouldn`t trust it but read the ingredients. Sometimes sweet things that are suger free have artificial sweetners in them - these are very bad. So check the ingredients.
