TH. a.m. Angio. reveals no blockages. Arranging for Dr. at Mayo clinic to see him re. the electrical node area of the heart & too many electrical impulses to it/surgery for it. New meds to minimize that, home soon even as Mayo arrangements are being made! This shared prayer experience has inspired me to look into creating a Yahoo on line prayer request board. If anyone is interested, please e-mail me. Am under the weather myself right now, so have yet to muster the energy to look into that.-Input along those lines totally welcome:)
Most of all, THANK YOU for your compassionate and encouraging responses, there are some mighty awesome people of faith on Yahoo, & it has been my privilege to come into contact with you.
God's blessings on you, each of you would get my vote for "best answer" if they'd let me!Hope to hear from some re. a prayer bulletin board in Yahoo groups, even if there is already one, maybe it would still be an outreach of blessing for many as this little ? was for us:)

I will. My Mom's cousin's husband (I call him my uncle) had heart failure not too long ago. Right after Christmas. He had a pacemaker/defibrillator implanted and he's fine, now.

A little over two weeks ago, my 86 year-old grandmother was rushed from her nursing home to the hospital. He heartbeat was 30! Temporary pacemaker was put in and 3 days later, a permanent one was implanted. She was taken back home a few days later. She literally went from ICU to her nursing home!

She's doing well, now. Just on oxygen. She and a 96 year-old lady are even going to a Scrabble tournament on Saturday afternoon!

I hope these experiences give you hope.

You have my prayers and best wishes. When you see your Dad, please tell him that many people are praying for him. When my "Uncle" was sick, we prayed for him and same for my grandmother. They both said that just knowing that people were praying brought them so much comfort and peace.

Please keep us all updated!

Bible says inJames 5:16 "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much". There may be righteous people but they cannot pray for your father fervently and those who can pray for him may not be righteous. So it is better for you and your family members pray for him fervently. If your father is conscious, ask him to confess his sins to our Lord Jesus Christ and ask him to compromise with those he has enimity and hatred in his heart. Ask him to forgive those who have done any wrong to him. Certainly the prayer will be heard and he will be cured. Don't go to any one else and so called evangelists. Approach Jesus directly and get his sins forgiven. we don't need any other mediator now.

My prayers are with your dad and your family. It is so hard to be so far away. I know how you feel. You are there in spirit and not in body.
