Ask your M.D. about atrial fibrillation. It is a heart arythmia that is indicative of an enlarged or inefficient heart beat. There are medical treatments and a variety of potential surgical interventions. Untreated it can lead to heart damage, heart attack or stroke.

Looks like you're pretty anxious or it has something to do with your brain being too excited.

The brain fires up too much electric signals to make the heart beat. This signals are usually dissipated through twitching of vulnerable muscles such as eye lids (when they move without your control).

Although this is normal, it is advisable that you see medical help if it lasts for too long. Fast heartbeat means faster blood flow. This can damage glands such as adrenaline which can be lethal. Another symptom is chest pains.

Try relaxing, I recommend mint tea and meditation.
