I was curious to know how and who started the oral sex. I have seen the answers here and they are interesting too. I was just wondering and thought of some views that came to my mind and I will really appreciate if people can comment on my own THEORY that originated in my mind:

The man and woman may have seen the animals licking the private parts of their partner specially dogs quite often in the open before having the sex and noticed that their sexual enjoyment is really good and for a long time. Seeing this they had thought of trying these activities and the doggie position is considered very popular one too.

Also I have checked with the Wikipedia too but could not find anything there but in my opinion this oral sex must have been tried by the Shaikhs in the middle east first as they use to have a lot of slave woman and they must not have any option to resist for such acts even if they didn't like it in the first instance.

Hope it is not offending to anyone and I apologize to all if anything mentioned has hurt feelings of someone. I will welcome the suggestions and views on this topic.

I was tod many years ago it originated from China as a birth control for young single women and men to control un-wanted pregnancy as a form of birth control. I think oral sex is the most sickness and disrespected a man or woman can do to each other. Your mouth already carry germs and bacteria, god knows who he/she is having sex with beside the indivisual, plan sex is ok with me. Have some dignity for your self.

There are several references to it in the bible. So I would assume a long, long time ago. I would assume not every couple does it as everyone is different in their preferences. Here are a couple of references from the bible.
