Plenty of clear fluids, NO dairy, and a medication containing giaifenesin such as Robitussin or Mucinex. If this doesn't work ask your Doc. for an albuterol inhaler or nebulizer.

attempt going to the save and getting an expectrant its usualy contained in the chilly drugs isle . take it.. it is going to probly make you cough a touch better however it is going to losen all that flem up . also i consider the nice and comfortable towel .. take a warm bathe or run some warm water n the bathrm with the door closed let the rm replenish with steam .. that can help the approach ..

Steam inhalation - get a bowl of boiling water, dissolve some menthol crystals into it (around 90p from the pharmacy) put a towel over your head and breathe. Does the trick for me xxxxx

Stick your head in a bunch of Steam from boiling water. I find that this helps.

Vick's Vapor rub is also good. Just rub a little on your chest before you goto sleep and it will help break up phlem.

the best home remedy is drinking plenty of fluids (water,juices and soups). however, if you really want to get rid of them fast, suctioning is the best option, aside from antibiotics of course.

go for the old fashioned remedy of head over a bowl of boiling water with some vicks mixed in. towel over your head and bowl and breath it all in. always works for me

Take chicken soup, with pepper on it.. you can see the improvement. (twice a day)

i used to find that inhaling steam from boiling water helped me.. dont know if its any use to you tho
