I have been abstinent for over two years now, and have no symptoms of any STDs. I was wondering which STDs it is possible that I have with no symptoms showing after that amount of time? I had unprotected sex in the period before, but never had any symptoms.

It is certainly possible to have an STD, even after that duration. Chlamydia (the most common STD), for example, can have no symptoms in women. However, if left untreated, can cause serious inflammatory problems. An original lesion in syphilis can go unnoticed, and this disease can progress to other stages. And HIV can be dormant for many years before symptoms appear. Many STDs are treated. If you have any reason to suspect that you may have been exposed to any of them, inform your doctor, and she can test you for them.

I got diagnosed with genital herpes (type 2) about 4 years back, when I was still in college and had a silly one-night stand. I know lots of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/MIfAz everything improved.

Not only was I able to eradicate all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This system provided me the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.

a sexually transmitted disease is transmitted by having SEX, hence the name, chlamydia is an std that usually has no signs or symptoms, also hiv can be dormant for years, get checked if you are worried, it is just a simple blood test.
