Yes, of course - just be sure to inform your partner and use a condom. It's important to know that the virus can be spread to your partner even when you are not having an outbreak.

Valtrex is a medicine you can take to help prevent the spread of herpes, as well as to reduce the frequency and severity of your outbreaks.

Also, be sure you know what type of herpes you have. There is type 1, which is what generally causes cold sores on the mouth. Type 1 can be spread genitally through oral sex or by touching a cold sore and then touching your genitals, but the frequency and severity of genital outbreaks with type 1 is much less (once every two years on average) than with type 2.
Type 2 is commonly known as genital herpes, and outbreaks can occur as often as once every two weeks, although usually they happen about ever three months or so. The frequency and severity of outbreaks usually decreases with time. It should also be noted that type 2 can be spread to the mouth through oral sex, although it probably won't cause cold sores as frequently as herpes type 1.
The difference between the two virus types is where the virus hides in your nerve ganglion. Type 1 remains dormant around the nerves at the top of your spinal cord, whereas type 2 manifests itself in the nerves at the bottom of your spinal cord, thus influencing the area affected by an outbreak (either the mouth of the genitals).

Also, with either type of herpes, be careful not to touch your sores or the area surrounding and then touch another part of your body - especially the eys. Herpes is spread very easily, even if you're spreading it yourself to another part of your own body.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/HerpesCure2o15Fyov

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

Of course. But you risk the chance of transmitting the virus to another. Therefore, it is best your partner(s) also have Herpes. Regardless, you should make sure you disclose your disease to ALL potential sex partners because there is a risk in transmission even with protection.

Yes. If you are not actively shedding herpes virus, you may have protected sex. Consult your doctor about anti viral medication to reduce any chance of transmission. read more-

If you want. make sure your partner knows and make sure you use protection. Protection could have prevented this in the beginning although I'm sure you are aware of this. And make sure your not having an active outbreak
