It sounds like you already know what it is. Bacterial vaginosis has the discharge that you described with the associated odor. Just go to the Dr and get a rx to clean it up. STOP douching! They say that is the worst thing that you can do. Yes you are eliminating bacteria, but you get rid of the good with the bad. Our bodies are adapted to clean themselves out when it comes to stuff like that.
If your not trying to go to the Dr for this and you want to treat it naturally, you could try douching PLAIN yogurt or buttermilk. I know it sounds HORRIBLE but it actually works!

First of all if you are not sexually active then you don't have to douche. Ducheing is to clean out a smell. Douches are not good for you at all.
Is douching safe?
Most doctors and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) suggest that women steer clear of douching. All healthy vaginas contain some bacteria and other organisms called the vaginal flora. The normal acidity of the vagina keeps the amount of bacteria down. But douching can change this delicate balance. This may make a woman more prone to vaginal infections. Plus, douching can spread existing vaginal infections up into the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries.
If you are expirenceing discharge but it white then you are okay unless there is to much. It is normal for the white stuff to come. But if there is a lot then you might have a yeast infection.
Vaginal yeast infections (candidiasis) cause a thick white coating in your vulva and vagina. It happens when candida, a fungus that is normally found in the body, grows too much in these areas. It also can happen in your mouth and throat, and is called thrush. Symptoms include a thick, white discharge, pain during sex, pain when you pass urine, and vaginal burning and soreness. Treatment is usually with creams or suppositories, which you can buy in the drug store or get from your doctor. If this treatment doesn't work, there are pills, like fluconazole (Diflucan) or ketoconazole (Nizoral) that will treat the infection. Vaginal yeast infections are common and easily treated in most women, but happen more often and are harder to treat in women with HIV.
Look at this site i have down here. This will help a lot with anything. Put anything there and i will bet the you will find it. Your welcome. Go See A DR. If a yeast infection is deleoping then you don't want it to get worst.

It could just be a yeast infection. Just go to your doc and they will give you treatment. Both yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis are not a big deal if you get treatment. Yes if left untreated the infection could go up into your vagina and eventually cause all kinds of problems. If cost is a problem, most free clinics treat problems like this. The antibiotics are modestly priced and if it is a yeast infection, just get some monistat or something.

It sounds to me like you have a yeast infection. Stop douching. Many OB's will tell you that douching can affect the bacteria in your vagina. Your body cleanses itself every month when you have a period. I would just talk to your mom. There are many over the counter remedies you can use or your doctor can prescribe something for it. Having a yeast infection is very common. But I would talk to mom and go from there. Best wishes!
