Poor Kitty

Indoors
Equipment: 1 blindfold
Formation: Circle

Arrange the group in a circle with a blindfolded player in the center. Then have the players move around the circle very quietly. The blindfolded player should approach the
circle in any direction and secure a victim who,
in a disguised voice, says 'poor kitty' and then imitates
the 'meow' of a cat. If the blindfolded player fails
to identify his prisoner, he releases him and the game continues. If he succeeds, the two change places.

Let’s go Shopping:
This activity is a fun way for the girls to fill their goodie bags. Divide the guests into two groups. One group are the store keepers and the other the shoppers. Give each shopper 10 coins or beans and a shopping bag. They then "buy" the party sweets or snacks they want, and place them in their shopping bag. The girls manning the stores are instructed that each girl can buy 1 item from each store. You can also have a "store" with party favors. When they have all spent their money the groups swap rolls and the other group can now go shopping. To ensure all girls get goodies have two sets of shopping items.

Fashion Parade:
Little girls love dressing up, so let them do so at the party. Collect all sorts of clothing items - bags, belts, skirts, tops, shorts, shoes, etc. You could also get fantasy clothing. Place them in a room. Let the girls get undressed and dress up in the clothing. When they have chosen their outfits let them hold a fashion parade. Award each girl with a prize. Find something special about each girl's fashion statement, to award.

Put the tiara on the Bratz (like Pin the tail on the donkey) using a largish sketch of a Bratz doll. Normal games like musical chairs and pass the parcel can fit in fine too.

I have a little girl turning 8 in Feb. and this is what we are doing:

Go to walmart in the craft section and find the little tubs or in the bathroom section and find individual sized bottles and then buy things like vaseline (for lip gloss), unscented lotions (large economy bottle) to dump into tiny individual bottles, different nail polishes in all sorts of colors, and things like that then buy some ultra fine glitter and let the girls make their own make-up! You could also buy the spray bottles that are empty and cheap and fill them with water and then let each girl add glitter to that to make her own glitter body spray.......my daughter loves bratz too and even though I am the furthest thing from AGAINST my kids knowing about God I don't think that they are too young for this. Another thing you can do is go to a dollar store and buy each one a feather boa and then the make up that they do themselves is the giftbag that they take home! Good luck and have a blast!

A big fave with my boys is the Scavenger Hunt. It includes all ages fairly easily and the list of stuff to look for can encompasse all sorts of ideas. A twist can be a clue hunt where they find a clue that leads to another clue and so on. Also little pizzas. You take some biscuits and get the stuff you want to put on them and have each kid make their own pizza. A pinata is another thing my kids like a lot. You can put all kinds of things in them. I hope this helps but whatever you decide on, I'm sure your little boy will still have a great day!

You could have a treasure hunt of some sort. Hide stuff around the house and yard and write a list of clues for the kids to solve. Shoot, I'd still do that and I'm 22.

Have you though about renting a bounce house? Check your local yellow pages under party supplies. 7 yr olds love bounce houses.
