Yes, vegetarians can. However, vegans can't because there are non-vegan ingredients (butter, etc.) in animal crackers. But we generally don't bite off the heads first, then laugh at what we're doing and ask where the blood is.

There are some vegan animal crackers... found some store brand ones and they were great!

No way...I ate this animal cracker once, it was in the shape of a monkey and I swear whenever I went to the zoo that following week, I swear all of the apes were eyeing me as if they knew I had ate one of their kind....it was creepy...LOL...

in case you never realized vegetarians arent scared of eating them because they are the shapes of zoo animals.
