I don't even know if that is possible.
Not generally a good idea if you have diabetes or not. That puts a huge strain on your body.

If you are burning it, and you have enough insulin for processing, then yes. It is perfectly safe.

You could burn that easily in a 1 hour bicycle race. This is serious athletic exercise, not pansy-assed walking.

One 43g standard Hershey bar = 22g sugar = 25g total carbs.
In Hershey bar equivalance: 500 g of sugar = 20 Hershey bars = 568.2g total carbs (gtc).

My metabolism uses 1.6gtc to produce 1 mg/dl of bg delta.

20 Hershey bars will jack my bg up: (1mg/dl) * (568.2gtc) / (1.6gtc) = 355mg/dl.

When I race bicycles, I drop my bg 400mg/dl/hour during a Humalog powerband, so 20 Hershey bars is just about right for that activity. Heck, I could eat 22 for good measure.

I typically use more higher concentrated sugar so I don't have to eat 20 Hershey bars, but it is good to have a reference standard such as a Hershey bar for illustration.

400 grams equal one cup of sugar. So that is over one cup of sugar in an hour! No, that does not sound safe at all. I hate to think of the amount of sugar in coke, but it can't be anywhere near one cup. You will have a very bad day I think.

To much of anything concentrated is dangerous. For a Diabetic don't even think about it. For kicks, stay oriented and ask you self why. If you proceed with the venture don't make it a habit of repeating it.

No, absolutely not, because that is way higher than the average daily requirements and if you have that in one hour then its not good for u!!!! Why do u want soooo much sugar in one hour?

Yes, I recommend doing this on a regular basis. It stimulates the beta cells to function at a higher level.
