I can't afford a dehydrator - can I use my oven at a low temp?

If it has a "warm" setting use that, Otherwise about 175 f. should do it. Lay the food you wish to dry in a SINGLE layer on a cookie sheet. Checking every 30 minutes or so for dryness. When dry cool completely and store in air-tight container. Refrigeration should not be necessary if it is completely dry. Have fun!

Easy as 1-2-3, Leaving oven door slighly ajar and the oven temperature at around 200 degrees and leave it over night or when you think it's ready...Good Luck...

leave you oven door open not real far but watch it and set the temp to 250 or 200 which ever one you want and there you go good luck.

Yeah, you sure can. i use my oven to de-hydrate beef jerky it works nicely. been awhile since i done it but i think i set it at like 150 degrees (if that) for 24 hours.
