I mean, it doesn't kill the sheep, the wool that's shorn regrows, and everybody's happy. Someone explain what I'm missing.

A) I wouldn't put this in a gaming section, since I don't give a rat's **** about the game, and
B) I assumed most vegetarians and vegans don't just disapprove of eating animal products, but also using them. It's a perfectly valid question for this section.
I read that SOME australian farmers use this practise to rid their herds of a type of parasite but not all do and most sheep farmers who shear their sheep are quite humane. I just think wool would be a good alternative to things like leather or fur where the animal is killed in order to get the end product. Wouldn't we want to encourage this type of thinking?
