I've been on bisoprolol(5mg) for 3 years increased to 10mg 6 months ago. 8 days ago I stopped taking the bisoprolol (on Doctor Advise). Prior to going off bisoprolol, my pulse averaged around 70 bp 130/80. Since then my pulse has averaged 98, bp 150/90. I was on bisoprolol for bp, I've never had a high pulse. Will the effects if abruptly stopping bisoprolol go away? Or should I be concerned?

Obviously, I’m bad communicator, or nobody read the question.
Key Taking bp medicine “Bisoprolol” resting pulse rate is 70. Abruptly stopped Bisoprolol. Resting pulse has been 95 to 105 since. Question is: Will my pulse eventually go back to 70?

You may want to talk to your doc about this. 98 is high, but not too high. Sometimes when your heart beats so quickly it doesn't pump as much blood as it does at a normal slow rate. The increased rate can also affect how much oxygen is able to get into your blood and it can decrease your blood pressure. If you start to feel dizzy or lightheaded then you should contact your doctor ASAP.

Some times it can be taken as heritage from family background. This can get quite a serious problem if is not taken care on time. You first need to find out its root cause, and then follow a continuous medical care. You have to control your pulse before it causes you severe problems like possible heart attacks (God forbid).

Yo! I'm goin' walkin' here in the next few minutes. Why don't you join me, bro. The heart likes to beat. It's like candy to it so let's feed the sucker.

because of the fact you "without notice stopped" Bisoprolol then i might desire to assume you elect to alter into your very own wellbeing practitioner??? it is almost like being your very own criminal expert??? the two are not extremely clever! that's recommended to communicate to a doctor (earlier that's too late)! Goodluck!

increased pulse rate means your getting fatter, so your heart has to pump faster (i think) because your veins/arteries are getting narrower because of the fat
