A vegetarian man is a rare thing where I come from !!! I will be the only Vegan in my county I don't know many veggies at work or otherwise. My hubby is an omnivore but he only eats meat once a month or so.
Plus I'm sure Now the single ones will be lining up for you in this section, David!!
~Me~ Did you mean that Catholics are not protestant/fundamentalist/presbyterian? Where I come from the main types of Christian are Catholic, Protestant, Methodist/United Reformed and Baptist. There are also Christian Fellowship and Church of the Latterday Saints (mormons) etc.
Happy New Year everyone!!!
EDIT. I have just read Michael's answer!! I'm sure his missus loves him he's a good, kind bloke !!!
Also I have never been out with a veggie, I always hoped for one but never met one. Most were accepting of it and enjoyed the veggie food (which does for me). One boyfriend found it a bit of an HF 'cos he wasn't the brightest bulb in the box, he used to constantly ask me ,"But Andie, how can you have a meal with no meat? " (It didn't last) I had a few Bfs from hell so I hung onto Hubbykins with both arms!!!!!

No quite true David. My wife is veggie, i'm veggie. I'm sure at some point in our history she liked me, once maybe.
And all my girlfriends ( besides wifey ) were meat eaters.
I think the point relates to why do good women go for the loosers.
See, veggie women are obviously good, by the nature of thier choice to be veggie. And meateating men are obviously bad, by the nature of thier diet choice.
So its a good chooses bad, rather than veggie choosing meat.
And that ( why do good women choose bad blokes ) is a good question that I cannot fathom at all.
Oh, and my wife is Christian, I was a catholic, and she went for me( like i say - once ) , but i was also a Christian because and if what how me you stuff thing doubry....oh, i'm confused with "me"'s answer now
So, this veggie has had meateating christian girlfriends..I guess I must be a freak or something.

Maybe because there aren't so many veggie men. I'm a strict vegetarian (soon to be vegan) and I'd prefer to date a veggie or vegan although I'm not closing the door to meat eating guys as long as they respect my beliefs. I think veggie men can be harder to find, perhaps.

Because we can convert them like I converted my boyfriend. He hasn't eaten meat since I converted him around late October, early November. And he's starting off the new year with no meat.
Besides, vegan guys are very hard to find sometimes. I'd go for either, but the good thing about dating a meat-eater is that you can convert them...in my opinion, anyways...

That's not always true. I know of only vegetarian woman who is with an omnivorous guy. All my other female vegetarian friends are with vegetarian guys- so am I.

The same reason Christian women go for Catholic guys? It's not about their beliefs or what they eat it's about the person. Having a healthy happy relationship with someone can and does occur with 2 people who may hold two different beliefs.

I never eat meat. People don't think about the animals in the world getting killed served as meat for 3 pounds or a dollar. I care for animals.

i don't think we have a choice because there are a lot more female vegetarians than male vegetarians. personally, i would prefer to have a vegetarian boyfriend, but if a guy was perfect in every other way i would still date him as long as he was accepting of my diet.

i would defiantly prefer a veggie guy to a carnivore but think about it, im pretty sure there are more veggie 'chicks' than veggie guys. our choices are more limited.
