I am currently in a relationship with a meat eater, and he just doesn't understand my lifestyle.

I am not looking for a man. I am just curious due to the fact that most vegans/ vegetarians i meet are women.

no i'm soon to be engaged. I am very happy with my baby. It would be nice if he understood though. All of the protests and rallies i have been to seem to only contain women. I have seen very few men in the animal rights scene the like 2 i have met were incredibly rude. That is why i ask. LOL

I am a nice vegetarian man. There are plenty of us out there. You just have to look in the right places. You won't find us if you chase after jerks. I'm not saying your b/f is a jerk but most women don't bother to look patiently for the right man. There are lots of nice guys who are ignored because they are "too nice" or "too perfect". This is a funny psychological hangup women need to get over. Don't chase after guys who need to be changed. Get a readymade nice guy and accept him as he is.

You are going to have trouble. Look at the vegan men you do see - skinny and unhealty looking. They are mostly in it to impress the vegan girls, I think.
Most of my wife's family is lifelong vegetarian/vegan, men included. Sure they are (mostly) nice people, but they are all a foot shorter than me and weak as kittens. They are sick all the time and just plain tired. I have never seen one run or even throw a baseball. When they need something heavy moved none of them can do it they call their meat-eating family members to help.

ON A SERIOUS note if you have a child someday take a serious serious look at the consequences of raising babies as vegans. There is good scientific evidence that there is permanent brain developmental damage due to B12 deficiency. Don't believe any crud about this - B12 cannot be obtained from any vegetable sources. Period.

There is no evidence that raising a child vegetarian or vegan causes anything, if fed a PROPER HEALHTY all veg protein diet. DO NOT believe everything you read on bs medical internet sites. A herbivorous diet and an omnivorous diet can be equally as healthy as long as one researches EVERYTHING that you need!

Please don't take this the wrong way but are you in denial that you are looking for another man by asking this question?
