I think it depends on the type and severity... My mother in law manages hers without insulin by a proper diet. She has been insulin free for 3 years.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Currently there is no cure. I have type 2 diabetes and have had success controlling my blood glucose by eating a low fat vegetarian diet. Previously I tried a low carb approach with little success. I eat plenty of vegetables, fruits, legumes, and grains.

I have seen a recent study on mice who are given capsicum injections who are cured of their diabetes.

Donald is wrong... don't listen to your doctor unless he has a cure.

sixx_ is wrong too, type 2s don't necessarily have to inject insulin unless they're out of control. I certainly don't have to.

Read my diabetes info webpage to see the closet thing to a cure that I have found. Notice the bloodtest that says my hemoglobin A1C (long term blood plasma glucose levels) is in the non-diabetic range: http://www.geocities.com/seabulls69/Type_II_Diabetes.html

You will get plenty of argument on whether there's a cure or not, but as long as you don't have to inject insulin and can control it with a simple diet, exercise, and supplement routine, who cares whether this falls under the definition of cure or not.

The closest thing to a cure is that in type 2 adult onset diabetes, sometimes losing a lot of weight will control the blood sugar.

Hi there! That depends on what type of diabetes you are talking about. Diabetes is a disease of lifestyle and the foods eaten can hinder or harm the body. Foods are most beneficial when eaten from the garden..so to speak. We should eat fresh foods with as little processing as possible. Processed foods come in cans, bottles, boxes and plastic, etc...Fresh, organic (pesticide free) foods free of trans-fats, etc. are the healthiest. I recommend the Maker's Diet food plan by Jordan Rubin. I am a certified instructor for that so you may ask me ques. if you like.

No cure but depending on the type and severity of your disease, you can live a good, insulin-free life if you watch your diet. I have type II and I'm on Metformin to regulate my morning levels, but otherwise, I just exercise and watch my diet esp. my carbs. Good luck!
