We had 60 people and had chicken, beef, salmon and side dishes pototoe salad, green salad, beans, some other kinds and for all of it was $360 which we had plenty of food and some people had seconds.

I'd say you should get $15 an hour plus any tips they want to give you. I did a party for Thanksgiving, buffet style. I did all of the shopping and preparing, the set up, serving and clean up and then enjoyed a meal and drinks with the guests myself. The grocery tab was $225, I put in a total of about 16 hours and my end result was a check for $500.00. I earned about $17 an hour, had a great time meeting people and promoting my services.
Good Luck.

Too many unanswered variables there. How many people? Do you have to supply plates, linens, or tables? Will you need to pay an assistant? What kind of food?
I used to charge $15 a plate. My cousin (in a different city) started her plates at $30.
I guess just take every single cost into consideration, divide by the number of people, and tack on what you think your compensation should be for your work.
