I was not aware his heart was beating before he was hung. A man with that much hatred could not have had a human heartbeat. The man was a butcher and deserved to die for his crimes towards humanity.

First off, as a gramatical point, he was hanged, not hung. Secondly, the death due to hanging is caused by complete paralysis when the neck is broken, so the heart will continue beating for 3-5 minutes or so (as others have stated) until the blood pH rises, the oxygen level goes down, and the many other changes associated with no longer breating happen and cause the heart to first go into one of several arrhythmias, then stop beating altogether.

The average time it takes for the heart to fail (because air supply has been cut off) is 3 minutes. Given the state of physical fitness - or lack thereof - it could be a slightly longer or shorter time.

Saddam was hanged due to his crimes against humanity. I wish the trial of Bush be made in any country of South America for crimes against humanity in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Bush punished whole of Afghanistan people just to catch one man (Osama Bin Laden), Is it human. He punished whole of Iraqi people, just on the pretext of Chemical weapons. Is it human.
He has done all these deeds to explore and expand his oil business and profits at the stake of USA citizens.

I'm SOO glad he's dead. The world is now a better, safer place. I grieve for the hundreds of familes in Iraq who lost loved ones because of him, or who's children were raped by his two miserable sons.
