Yikes. I've never had that happen. I've either bought edamame or ordered it in restaurants numerous times. Although, these were all expensive stores, so they can afford to have quality food.

I'd let the manager of the restaurant know, and possibly not return depending on how they handle it. There are plenty of places that you can get edamamae from. It's not worth having that happen again.

I'd be curious to know what restaurant it was.
