my symptoms are: sore throat, back ache, head ache, shortness of breath, spitting up thick mucus, not able to sleep comfortably without my back hurting.

Do u have FEVER?
As you are sick for two weeks have you taken any medicaine ? gone under some investigation.
A s you have sore thrat along with headache and bodyache it points towards viral pharyngitis but two weeks are much more for the disease and it may complicate in the for of lower respiratory tract in fection.
iS YOUR SHORTNESS OF BREATH ASSOCIATED WITH PAIN IN CHEST?
if it is so then consult your doctor as early as possible for the fear of developing viral pneumonia.

You should see a doctor, especially if you're short of breath. It's probably just a bit of a chest cold (bronchitis), but best to be sure.

see a g p as soon as possible. could be respiratory problems, flue, bronchitis infection of lungs etc.

you may have bronchitis...........maybe pneumonia...you need to go to the doctor or emergency room today
