are there different symtoms of low and high blood sugar or are do they have the same symptoms. if diffrent, how so?

Speaking from my own experience, when I have a low blood sugar, my hands and lips get kind of numb. My hands will shake. My stomach will start to growl as if I'm really hungry. In an extreme hypoglycemic state, I will start to sweat A LOT.
During high blood sugar phases, I tend to get really thirsty. I feel dehydrated, but I urinate a lot.

One symptom of high sugar is getting very sleepy after a meal.
A symptom of low sugar is, feeling shakey, sweating, partial loss of vision, like seeing a white spot appearing in eye and getting larger to the point of not being able to see. These symptoms usually go away with the intake of coke or milk, anything you can find with sugar in it will help.
If you take insulin, I would advise you to have a small coke available to drink should your sugar plumit downward during the night.

The symptoms are pretty similar however, when blood sugar is high, breath may smell sweet and you may have to urinate a lot.

cold & clammy needs candy(low sugar) & hot & dry ,sugar's high. Also High blood sugar-thirst, hungry, frequent urination.

high sugar irritates the bladder and penis or vagina, low sugar causes the cold shakes, cold swets
