Unfortunately no.Albuterol is relatively cheap, but it is a rescue inhaler only and will do nothing for your copd. There is a new one called Spiriva that works real well. You do one inhalation every a.m. and it kind of conditions your lungs for inflammation and treats blocked breathing passages.I have been on it for it for almost a year now and I feel better than than I have in a long time.Go to your doctor and spagmometer test done so they can see the degree of your illness.{it is real simple just blow into a tube}Then talk to him to see if he will prescribe it for you.He may have samples,my doctor does at times.Good luck.I am not sure if that test is spelled right but it is a breathing test,or lung capacity test.

NO. If you were diagnosed with COPD. You need a pulmonologist and prescriptions. This is a disease that does not get better it gets worse and the medicine kind of delays the getting worse part. See a doctor get a prescription

In several states you will be able to buy Albuterol and many other Generic medicines for only $3 or $4 WITH a prescription.

so go get tested and get the right stuff. It wont be that expensive at Target or Walmart pharmacies. Get that low cost list from them for your state, take that to your doctor.
