Yes. Mycoplasma is a bacteria that casues walking pneumonia.
the reason it is called walking pnuemonia is because the sign and symptoms are not as severe as other types of pnumonia. Even more, this type of bacteria infects the interstitial tissue as opposed to the alveoli, which is why most people will tend to have a dry cough and feel that they can walk around.
